It Started With a Brake Rotor

  • What's the real cost if this part fails? Include labor, downtime, and trust.
  • How does it fail? Rotors warp, castings crack, filters clog. Know the failure mode before you order.
  • How fast can I get a replacement? A $100 saving means nothing if the part is three weeks out.
  • Would I install it on my own car? If the answer is no, that's your answer.

The checklist is unremarkable. It's just the collected memory of expensive mistakes.
